STARTING OF A NEW LIFE

Standing in the middle of a college campus  that has one of the best greenery compared to the other b schools of  INDIA  and also not to say one the best faculty for its flagship program of industrial management. Yes, you are right,I am talking About NITIE(National Institute of Industrial Engineering) located in Mumbai near Powai lake.
I came to Mumbai on 13th June 19, 2013 in morning and was welcomed by Mumbai rain, (it became more famous after the 26th July floods). It was raining heavily as I arrived in the campus. 13th being the registration date, every one started arriving one by one. The whole registration process got over by 3pm and after that I was trying to arrange my luggage inside the Hostel room. It was still raining outside, after a while  rain stopped and I along with my roommate went for a walk and started exploring the campus.
The best thing about the campus is, it is located on a hill between Powai lake and Vihar lake, this gives a mesmerizing view(from the MDP hostel) and you just forget that you are in Mumbai that is known for its skyscrapers or we can say a concrete jungle. And it makes me fall in love with this college. The other best thing is, there is a pond in the campus itself known as NITIE sarovar which has a walkway around it, one of the nice place for joggers.

After that it was time to enjoy “Life at NITIE” i.e. night life. After the dinner all the students were trying to know each other and their background where they worked and their native places. I was feeling as a minor as I was a fresher and most of them had a work ex of more than 2 years. Then found some friends who were also in the same boat as I am, a sigh of relief for me. After that had a walk around the pond and the feeling was a heavenly one that cannot be expressed in words.

After that the 3 days were very fun with the Team Impact who made sure we people have a great time at NITIE and adjust to life at NITIE.

  1. Good to know that you are in NITIE. But seriously? How did you get through the GD/PI? I mean, your english is kinda vicious!

    1. I Know my english is not so good, but does it matter unless and until my thoughts are getting conveyed.
